This season feels pretty much like the first one all over again. If you loved the first season, this one is for you. I continue to find the show to be middle of the road, and will be taking a break before potentially trying seasons 3 and 4.
The cast and most of the characters continue to be strong, and there is still a lot of unnecessary drama forced upon them. One character, Kayla, continues to be annoying (as the writers intend), but I am out of patience with it. I’d skip her scenes if I could.
The main difference between this season and the first is that this one has both better episodes than any from the first season, while also including worse episodes than the first time around. Instead of a constant string of medium episodes, I hated a few in this season and really enjoyed a few others. It still has potential, and still leans too much on unnecessary drama. I know I’m not the target audience here, as reality TV and an entire genre of movies exist that support this kind of nonsense. I
Season 2 also gets a 6. It’s a solid season, but there is room for improvement.
